Formation of the District Calendar-At-A-Glance

You may have wondered how the district At-A-Glance Calendar is formed.  The Board solicits input of several stakeholders using a committee approach to the calendar design process.  The committee is composed of a secretary, a custodian, a teacher at each school, an administrator, a member of the SEA executive committee, parents from Somerville and Branchburg, a Board member and me.  The committee meets annually with the task of designing a calendar that best meets the needs of all children.  The adopted calendars can be seen by clicking on the links below.

Thank you for keeping up-to-date on the calendar changes. I myself have been waiting for the final Votech calendar, which was just approved the other day. :)

The Board of Education voted last night to move the spring break week for next year. Hopefully we will have VoTech's information prior to our committee meeting next year.
